Trans: A Playlist

All of the tracks here are referenced in the book (or were, in earlier drafts), or played a significant role as I wrote it. So much of the memoir is about discovering oneself through culture, and for me, music was incredibly important in providing possibility models, or routes into art, film or counter-cultural worlds that included trans and queer people. So these are amongst my favourites, not just because I like the tunes but because they helped to shape me, and everything I create.
