It’s been another great year for events and we have launched some of the most exciting novels of 2018 here at the shop; it’s difficult to choose but here are six of the best fiction podcasts.
We welcomed old friends and new; Olivia Laing and Ali Smith came and talked about Olivia’s debut novel Crudo and Ali had also been here earlier in the year to talk to Alan Taylor about his friendship with Muriel Spark. Sheila Heti and Sally Rooney on Motherhood at a packed St George’s Church was not to be missed. And if that wasn’t enough we had three of 2018’s Booker nominated authors; Rachel Kushner on The Mars Room, Sophie Mackintosh on The Water Cure and Richard Powers on The Overstory And if all that isn’t enough, you can find the rest of our podcasts here.
